| In response to God's calling for
Word of Life Church to go and preach the gospel to
the Maltese and Gozitans. the Lord led us to first
go to St. Vincent De Paul Residence. This is an
elderly home owned by the government.
This was our first outreach that Word of life has
done on its own, that is without the help and support of
other ministries or churches. The Lord has risen
people with all different type of gifts within the
church who are able
to take care of all the needs to do such outreaches.
There were about 300 elderly people present. They
all participated and enjoyed the service given to
them. At the end of the performance and preaching,
the pastor asked those present if they were willing
to accept the Lord Jesus as their Saviour. He then
led into prayer.
It is the hope of Word of Life that these people
will remember to call the Name of the Lord for the
forgiveness of sin even on their death bed. It will
be such joy to meet many of these elderly people in
heaven, knowing that it was through our obedience to
God they are now saved. Please pray for them to
remember that ONLY JESUS SAVES!
The Elderly people were given an evangelistic
Christmas Card with the message of Salvation. Those
who were not able to come were given one by the
members of the church as the went through the wards
of the residence.
