And within two yrs I had to have injections, as well as Inhalers to control my breathing. When I was twenty / twenty-one, I was rushed into hospital after collapsing from a severe asthma attack. It was then that the hospital recommended that I went for a course of breathing exercises, which helped me when I had an attack. When I wasn't having breathing problems, I was smoking, but when I was having breathing problems I would stop smoking. As I grew older, so my asthma got worse, and to add to it I developed Bronchitis. Eventually I was back to square one. Using Inhalers, and being rushed into hospital after having another bad asthma attack. I was in for eight days, discharged, then back to the asthma clinic for further monitoring. I am now a man of sixty six, and with a history of Breathing Problems like I had, also smoking twenty/ thirty cigarettes a day until twelve yrs ago, then you stand a pretty slim chance of recovery. Wrong! When you are a Christian, and you love the Lord like I do, then God can do anything. "Nothing is impossible for the Lord". Two weeks ago I had to go back to the asthma clinic for a check-up. And after a brief examination, was told that they didn't want to see me anymore. Yes that's right they gave me a clean bill of health, saying that they had not seen anyone as fit as me, especially with a history like mine, also at my age as well. So I want to give God all the Glory he deserves, and pray that he will continue to keep me healthy. Amen.
