WOL DEVOTION
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him graciously give us all things? Romans 8:31-32
GEMS IN THE BOOK OF ROMANS
he message of Christmas love would not be complete if we do not comprehend this part of God becoming man. Paul is encouraging the Roman Church that the love of God is unaffected by even the most extreme changes of our condition - neither death, nor life, by any other order of beings, whether angels, principalities, or powers. That it is universally present throughout creation. And finally, that this love is in Christ Jesus our Lord. In order to understand and experience this love, we must be united to the Lord Jesus by a living faith. Then we shall be more than conquerors, that is, we shall not only be victorious, but shall remove the very things that have hurt us.
PRAYING FOR THE NEXT GENERATION It's soon that materialistic time of the year, when everyone especially our children receive gifts and presents. One from nanna, one from nannu, from uncle and auntie, sometimes even the grocery store guy sends one and so on.... Our children will be eager to open all presents and it happens like they get into a trance when they get over excited with what they are going to play first, if they are toys... But which gift will they cherish the most and spend most of the time playing with? We need to pray that our children and young church attendees, be able to distinguish which are really precious gifts? What is the real price paid for the gift that they are being offered? And we need to pray that they treasure what is being offered by grace. We also need to pray so that US with OUR CHILDREN, understand that gifts are not always wrapped in shiny paper and given on Christmas day... There are gifts that are internally felt by the power of the Spirit of God...
“O faithful soul! Prepare your heart for this Spouse, that He may design to visit you and abide within you. For thus He says: ‘If any man love Me, he will keep My words, and We will come unto him, and will make Our abode with him.’”

CELEBRATING JESUS THE FOUNDATION OF MARRIAGE Christmas is not just another feast to celebrate but a thanksgiving memorial for what the Lord has done. Jesus came to forgive our sin; that is not all. He came to give us stability in life. In a confusing world and destruction of marriage, now society is broken. Only those who keep walking in faith are going to make it. We hear how the number of mentally ill people is increasing, even among the youths. Why? It is mainly because of false
misconceptions and expectations that they are fed every day. God designed us one way, while we want to live another way. That tension causes depression. Marriages must remain strong. It is the cell from which society derives strength. Therefore, the family must have a stronger foundation than what the forces of this world are offering. It is only Jesus. There is no other tested cornerstone that stood the test of time. Jesus did. Make Jesus your main desire this Christmas and beyond. Question for reflection: Is Jesus the source of your life, that is, making all life decisions surrounded by Him?
Therefore thus says the Lord God, Behold, I am the one who has laid as a foundation in Zion, a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation.” Mark 1:2-3
