HARMONIZING THE GIFTS
PRAYING FOR OUR YOUNG GENERATION
Carnival! It is on the doorstep and in a couple of days it would be over. Is this
a tradition, a pagan feast? What is sure is that many people like the carnival
and some more than others. Do we feel the need to pray it over? Do we feel
that in some way or another, there is a dark side of it? Are there people that
use this time of the year as an excuse to sin? Some even sin deliberately?
Shall we pray that our children feel the innocent part of it only? One thing for
sure, there is nothing biblical about it.

so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in
the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature,
attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ”

Ephesians 4:11-13, 16
The "more" isn't more money,
more things, or even more
attention from your spouse.
Dr. Dobson stated: "Money
will not make your marriage
rich. Things will not make your
marriage full. And more attention will
not bring lasting fulfillment. More of
any earthly thing will not help your
marriage be what God designed it to
be. There is only one thing that can fill
the deeper longing, and that is Christ
Himself."

WOL Marriage Devotion
Several times, Christian marriages
go through a period of unfulfillment.
The couple settles into a place of
co-existence, without much
hope of having a marriage
that is thriving and
complete. Worldliness,
creep in to replace God's
role to bring the
fulfillment that they are
seeking.
If this describes your situation, be
encouraged. The Lord hears your
heart. He sees your disappointment.
He knows the longing of your heart
and the discontentment in your soul.
You can be assured that God longs
for you to have so much more.
Reflection:

you
