Prayer for Families
Heavenly Father
O Lord, God of goodness and mercy, who amid an evil and sinful world, you provided
a family to whom the Holy One was born, according to your perfect will. He was
Emmanuel, your Son. Your eternal plan for this family was to make salvation
available to whosoever believes in the Holy One. Lord, we pray that you also use our
family to be a means to make the finished work of Jesus on the cross to be known to
many. Let each member of our family become a means to share the Good News to the
lost.
Let our devotion to you show that we trust you in all things, especially our souls. Let
our life be a life of holiness and uprightness. Let us be bearers of the cross and be
found worthy in your sight.
PRAYING FOR OUR YOUNG GENERATION
•
In Matthew 21:16 we have a confirmation that God ordained praise from
our little children.
•
How nice, what a blessing. Hence we are obliged to train our children in
praise and worship. Teaching our children to be grateful to God not only
builds their spiritual relationship with God but strengthens their faith in
God himself and humanity.
•
Therefore, let's pray that our children feel the need to praise God and be
thankful. They are what they are, and where they are, thanks to Him, the
Almighty and Creator.
