“Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.” Psa 37:37 “You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.” Psa 4:7-8

Tuesday, January 28, Bible study will be transferred to Thursday 30th. Instead of meeting at Word of Life, we will meet at Cornerstone in Blata l-Bajda. The speakers above are worth hearing them.
Prayer for Families Heavenly Father O Lord, God of courage, be with our families. We live in dark and difficult times in which the very existence of the traditional family is under existential intimidation. So many couples marry without knowing what their plan for marriage is. Surely the time of the neglect of family values is in full force against you and your perfect will. We pray for the courage you gave to Joshua. You told him to be strong and of good courage, not to be afraid. You promised your servant that you will be with him wherever he goes. Be with us, our Lord and King. As we cross the torrents of the Jordan, open a way for us as you did to Joshua and your holy people Israel. Teach us how to obey and how to walk by faith, for we know that the torrents will role back at the command of your Word!

PRAYING FOR OUR YOUNG GENERATION I'm sure that as parents we go out of our own way, for the best of our children, especially when they are sick. We pray, we take them to the best doctors, we miss work if need be and we make sure that they recover… and much more sacrifices. However, there are other important issues that our children have: THEIR SOUL- THEIR ETERNAL LIFE. Do we treat our children’s spirituality superior needs with the same fervency? Or do we have different measures, since we don't see the symptoms? As parents and as spiritually needy people, we too we have to pray harder for our kids and ourselves. Spiritual sickness is deadly.

Spouses will always argue. However, they can do it with a peaceful tongue and seeking the best for the family in the situation. They do not need to be like a pressure cooker, ready to let the steam out. Your spouse (or anyone else) is not your target-victim to let the pressure out. Mature love will want to be a peacemaker and not quarrelsome. The ancient sage wrote: “The beginning of

strife is like releasing water; Therefore stop contention before a quarrel starts” (Prov. 17:14). It best to prevent difficult conversation, then creating one. An offended spouse is harder to win back into loving harmony. After all, Christian couples are worshipers of God. Their home is their main temple of worship. Therefore, if they remember an offense, they should first sort it out and be reconciled, so that their sacrifice of praise is received and accepted by God.

“Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” Mat 5:23-24
