WOL MOTHER’S Day
Caleb wasn’t looking for a mentor or a friend when he went to work for Joe. He simply wanted to learn about woodworking. But the relationship became much more than that. Instead of assigning tasks, Joe asked Caleb what he wanted to learn through this experience. That set off a years-long friendship that went much farther than simply working together. Joe and Caleb shared meals and books together. Joe introduced Caleb to the details of selling his house so that Caleb could learn. Joe also introduced Caleb to his friends. Joe invited Caleb into his life and included him in all kinds of ways. Community is about more than just a surface relationship. It calls for hospitality, and that often means putting oneself in a place of risk and vulnerability to include others. It means inviting others into your space to include them in what is going on. Abraham and Sarah invited three strangers to rest, wash up, and eat. It might not seem like much, but this is an example of inviting strangers into our space so that they are not strangers anymore. Abraham and Sarah gave of themselves in order to make the strangers feel welcome, and they were blessed in amazing ways. The ways we make room for others in our community is important.
“Wash your feet and rest under this tree. Let me get you something to eat. . . .” — Genesis 18:3
Happy mother,s Day to all mothers in the church and to all our mothers
Heavenly Father we thank You for our mothers who untiringly love and care for us with every passing day… but today Lord, on this important “Mother’s Day”, we specially want to lift up all mothers throughout the land..”, and thank You for the very special role they play in the lives of their children.

What is the outcome then, brethren? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification (B) … for God is not God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. 1 Corinthians 14:26-32

PRAYING FOR THE NEXT GENERATION  We Christians all agree that the reward of rebellion is punishment. We also agree that at times our children are rebellious and we feel like to "crush" them. But our parental love drives us round. In our measure we hate to punish our children but we do it in faith that there will be no next time of mischief. Have we ever explained to our children why we want them to behave, like our father in heaven expects us all to behave?. Is this the right expectation that God wants from us? Shall we unite in prayer with and for our children and ask forgiveness for rebellion?

Concerns that couples argue about, most of the time have a deeper issue than the subject they would be arguing about. It could be something such as an unmet need, a lack of trust, a lack of respect, covertness, pride, self- centerdness, and the like. These are the root of most marriage problems’ and fights. However, what makes a marriage strong is loving with biblical love grounded in patience, kindness, loyalty, grace, and in alignment with God's covenant purpose for marriage. Often things couples fight about, have to do with our own sinful choices, as well as the demonic realm working against them. When they fail to make a spiritual connection to everything that goes on in marriage, they will continue to fume
about whatever the current issue is. Spouses need to pray and cultivate a real relationship in humility, while seeking God's wisdom and guidance and asking for His love, grace, and mercy. God's Word reminds us to "be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil." God supplies the strength they need to successfully fight off the opposition in their marriage So let every Christian couple use the difficulties they face to get on their knees and seek God's face to grow closer to Him.
"be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you weee able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil" (Eph6:10-11)
