WOL DEVOTIONAL POEM
Bastain had a love for books His peers just hated his looks About “fantasia ”he read What can I do, he then said Call a name to the empress Save the world from all distress Lost their hopes , forgot their dreams To them fantasy it seems “Nothing”, the destroyer’s name Atreyu, hero of fame Seeking empress, was his coarse Riding Artax, his good horse Must kill G’Morg the bad wolf For darkness the servanthood Bastain suffered as he read With all fear was almost dead
Falkor, a dragon that flies On whom Atreyu relies Full of knowledge Engywook Like a modern science book A book that’s a true story Where God gets all the glory His Word that’s “never-ending” That truth is always sending “G’Morg ”a wolf that’s hired But Christ is never tired To save all His sheep He cared Of Him, all the wolves were scared So turn around and do see Who’s Saviour for you and me As we suffer with no shame Keep believing in His name
John 1: 1- 18, 10:1-18.

Isaiah is prophesying a future that will have its full realization after the last stage of the return of Christ. However, this prophesy began to have its fulfillment from when the church was born. Peter saw the church as a holy priesthood, and Paul considered himself as a priest in the service of God (Rom 15:16). Being a priest of God, a priest to offer (living) sacrifices to God, is one of the most prestigious services one gives. As a Jewish minister to the Gentiles, Paul saw the Isaiah prophesy in the process of fulfillment. The gentiles' souls were the offering to God. What a unique understanding, knowing that the people we lead to Christ is the most significant ministry one can do for Jesus. Today, believers offer themselves for the service of God to serve each other as they seek to reach the lost for Christ. Do people speak of you as a minister of God? Is your testimony giving glory to the Lord? It is fantastic news to learn that people see you as a person committed to serving God. In the fullness of all time, gentiles and Jews will be together as priests and kings to God the Father.
Isaiah 61:6
What do you think, if I say that we should pray for our children to teach us - the mature ones - through their pure faith? We all agree that we want our young ones to grow in faith and not as brainwashed children We want them acknowledging God, loving and obeying Him throughout their lives. As I was thinking for a prayer theme, I asked my boys what we should ask God for? What their need is and what do they want to thank Jesus for? While explaining, I tried to use different terms of Jesus and God…so that my children will have a better understanding before answering. My kids’ reply was “as long as we pray, it is good, because God and Jesus always listen to us…they are the same. Even if we pray for nice toys and to play at church with Noah and Matthew…God listens.” What a blessing. Let us pray and thank God that our children continue to feel the safety and comfort that Christian homes have to offer.  We should also pray for less fortunate children. All children should know that God loves them. This might be the calling of our children to share the love they are being brought up with their friends in schools...

WOL Marriage Devotion
THE HARMONIOUS MARRIAGE
In Genesis 2:24, the words “hold fast to his wife” and the words “they shall become one flesh” point to something far more profound and more permanent than keeping one marriage and faithfulness. What these words point to is what several Christians call “Covenant marriage” It is a covenant holding fast to commitments values that include standing against every storm “as long as we both shall live.” But that is only implicit here. It becomes explicit when the mystery of marriage is more fully revealed in Ephesians 5:31–32. Paul quotes Genesis 2:24 in verse 31:
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” Then he gives it this all-important interpretation in verse 32: “This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.” In other words, marriage is patterned after Christ’s covenant commitment to his church. Christ thought of himself as the bridegroom holding fast to his bride, the church of God. Paul knew his ministry was to gather the bride—the true people of God who would trust Christ. Christ holding fast to the church is the example that couples must cherish till death or the rapture comes. REFLECTION: Do you hold fast to your spouse when storms arise, regardless of the nature of those storms? Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Genesis 2:24
