God built our body well
So with Him we can all dwell

It must grow and become strong

Holding well, by each member
All Christians must remember
Every joint functions to plan
So His will is always done
As the head He’s well above
A strong bond, the truth in love
True doctrine we must peruse
Obey Him, be of good use

WOL DEVOTIONAL POEM
To the spleen and the liver
The red blood cells, deliver
Haemoglobin is released
Life goes on, we are so pleased
Bilirubin then appears
To the colon and it’s peers
Then the kidney puts waste out
Body balance well and stout
Bilirubin on it’s own
Does not help our muscle tone
Needs blood cells to make things go
Not too fast and not too slow
God created all mankind
Bilirubin in His mind
All our body well designed
In His image all one kind
But with sin showing it’s face
God balanced it, with His grace
To save mankind on the cross
With His blood spilled with great loss

WOL Devotion
One of the glorious privileges Christians have is that God wants them
to become like His Son, Jesus Christ. However, there is a problem.
The mind of the body and the mind of the Spirit do not agree. There is a life-long problem that
need to be continually be dealt with. The power of the flesh cannot be minimized, but neither
can the power of the Holy Spirit. Believers need to make one major and logical decision. They
need to make a decision not to longer be conformed to this world. They need to change their
way of thinking. It would be the beginning of a journey of continuous logical transformation
based on the understanding of the love of God. Once the children of God understand God’s love,
they would conclude that the logical thing to do is to surrender all to Him. God's perfect will is
knowing that for those who love God, all things work together for their good. But notice, for
those who are called according to his purpose (Rom 8:28).
Therefore, what Paul is
calling for in Romans
12:1-3 is that the
believers worship God
by their life that
testifies that Jesus is
their Lord.

reaching this kind of love, but it does not
relieve us from our responsibility to love
our spouse unconditionally.
We live in a selfish world, shaping
selfish minds, creating selfish
attitudes, which find
themselves in selfish
marriages. It is not a matter
of one is selfish or not; it is
how selfish one is rather than
not! Although Valentine’s Day
is a traditional celebration, we still
can use this day and ask the question: How
selfish I am in my marriage?
REFLECTION:
What can you do so that you can
“unselfish” yourself in your marriage?

Most believers agree that John
3:16 is one of the most beautiful
verses in the Bible, if not the
most. Why is that? It
describes, in few words, the
profound love that God has for
all people. How did He do that?
He did it by giving His eternal Son
to punishment and death as the atonement
for all the world’s sins.
What does this have to do with Valentine’s
Day? Well, it speaks of love! It is the kind
of love that is missing in many marriages-
even in Christian marriages. This kind of
love is sacrificial. We all fall short of
