WOL DEVOTIONAL POEM
If against the Lord you sin You’re a loser, you can’t win For his kingdom you’re in doubt In His words, you are sold out Years go by and you get worse Moving only in reverse Till the Lord you then will seek All encouraged, no more weak To King Jabin Jews were sold But Deborah was quite bold And the war could not avoid In the end Jabin destroyed Barak and Deborah moved By the Lord both were approved In obedience full of hope Pulled together the same rope
Deborah got her wake up call In obedience did not stall Likewise Barak rose to fight Against all opposing might To both of them the Lord says He’s to move in real big ways Deborah their mother was To free Israel the cause Worshiping was her stronghold While as judge as fine as gold Was wide open to God’s voice Valued always the best choice Like them both move through His call So do rise and do not fall Worship Him and fight His foes Follow Him to where He goes

praying for the next generation
What is going to happen? Have we ever heard this question from our children? Many times children ask what's going to happen, but have we ever thought why they ask such a question frequently? I would say, in certain situations or circumstances…the curiosity or anxiousness will effect children as well. Therefore anxiety, fear, curiosity, uncertainty, joy and different experiences like adventures etc… do make them inquisitive. Our hope and prayers are that the time invested in them together with the church…they will seek God in their walk in life and in their answers. We can start or continue praying on the matter and never cease, as today's generation is never satisfied, and not patient to trust the unseen God. Our hope is in God alone to minister in their hearts, the way they understand.
The doctrine of “the rapture” is one of the most sought teachings in the church. By nature, people are curious about the mystic and the future. Both are present in the doctrinal event. What actually happens when those who are alive and Jesus returns? In these verses, we see several key words,/phrases and two of them are: “we who are left” and “caught up.” Therefore, Paul is thinking of those people who will be alive when Jesus returns and how He will take them to be with Him forever. Although some of us want to get into the minute details and theological debates, the point is: Jesus is coming back for those who are His. Therefore, the essence of this teaching is that Jesus is coming to raise those who died in Him and for those who are still alive. Both categories will appear before the throne of rewards and be awarded according to their faithfulness of Christ. Therefore, let us then think about this event and pray, “Come Lord Jesus, Come.”
And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air 1 Thess 4:16f

THE HARMONIOUS MARRIAGE
Christianity is a process of transformation. Once we are born again, we begin a life-long task of being transformed into the likeness of Christ. We know that the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives cannot be done unless we cooperate with Him. We acknowledge that we need to change; we cannot become Christlike with our own effort and need His consistent help. He is our Helper! The marriage concept has the same principles. We meet with someone whom we begin to love and decide to live the rest of our lives with that person. A lifelong process of knowing that person starts. One variable between knowing Christ and our spouse is that God does not change while we keep changing. We grow in maturity, and we grow in age. The family grows and a changing environment,
forcing couples to change lifestyles according to the development. This is an aspect in the marriage that couples must remember. We have two persons consistently shaping according to one’s environmental press, trying to live together in consistent harmony. We all know that it is not easy, and those who do not learn to adapt to different situations suffer immensely, with devastating results. However, as Bible believers know that they must work out their salvation, they must also work out their marriage. Christians know that they are not alone. The Holy Spirit desires married couples to also transform into Christ’s likeness. The couple is called to be an active part of His body, the church. Therefore, as every person has a life-long commitment to grow in Christ, the same with married couples. They are to be committed to having a life-long growing experience in Christ. The transformation is always rewarding! “…be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Rom 12:2
