Welcome
to our church & fellowship
A king sitting on his throne Well surrounded, not alone Stones silver and also gold In a chest, not to be sold It is his special treasure Valued beyond all measure He feels constantly the stones While each one by name he knows Of great joy is his feeling Each one for him has meaning As each touch contains his will Each stone moves, does not stand still Christ our Lord is that good King Toward Him we must all swing A priesthood for every one Since His mercy we have won Serve Him now and tomorrow Even though you go through sorrow In fact each day of your life Through his steps you will survive He bore our sins on the tree Imitate and be set free Seek His righteousness, die to sin You can’t lose, you’ll always win
Do obey, He’ll say you’re fine I love this one, he is Mine As special by Him we’re seen Whether old or just a teen Now you know the corner stone Never leaves you on your own No more malice, no deceit Seek His Spirit, “Paraclete”

PAUL’S CONCERN was the well-being of the believers when he was away from them. Since he could not go back because of his “blacklisting” by the Thessalonian Jews, he made sure that they keep growing in the faith by sending them this co-worker and pastor in training Timothy to establish them deeper in God’s work. After Timothy became the senior pastor in Ephesus, Paul gave this truth: “The Scripture is able to establish us because it is inspired of God (2 Tim. 3:16). The Gospel establishes people in the truth. It is that truth that strengthens the believers to remain faithful to God regardless of their persecution and hardship. Paul was the perfect example of this. Do you give this testimony as believer?
1 THESS 3:1-3
Therefore when we could bear it no longer, we were willing to be left behind at Athens alone, and we sent Timothy, our brother and God's coworker in the gospel of Christ, to establish and exhort you in your faith, 3 that no one be moved by these afflictions.
THE VALUE OF THE GOSPEL
In Psalm 127 we read that children are a heritage from the Lord and are like arrows in a warriors hands. So let's thank God that he is armouring us for battle... He is preparing us to fight the evil forces.. As parents God gives us the wonderful opportunity to mold and shape our children (our arrows) to go out in to the world and be world changers. What a huge responsibility we as parents have to raise Godly children. Children that know and love the Lord. let us join in prayers so we stand tall in front of God in day of judgment.

THE HARMONIOUS MARRIAGE
Ask yourself: in my marriage, how often do I get trapped into fighting over things that, in the end, don’t really matter? How many marital problems would be solved if couples would simply read the Sermon on the Mount once a month together? This isn’t to disdain the things of the earth—no need to do that—it’s to exalt the things of heaven. Jonathan Edwards wrote like a poet: “Fathers and mothers, husbands, wives or children, or the company of earthly friends, are but shadows; but the enjoyment of God is the substance. These are but scattered beams, but God is the sun. These are but streams; but God is the fountain. These are but drops, but God is the ocean.” All of this means we have to work at keeping our focus, our magnificent obsession; otherwise, we might put all our focus on lesser (but still
important) aims—trying to improve our communication, get our finances in order, keep our romance fresh and fun, and so on. We have to remember that these are not the stuff of life and they are not the end goal. After all, as Edwards reminds us, “If our lives be not a journey towards heaven, they will be a journey to hell.” If you truly desire to live this out, talk with your spouse and/or a group of good friends on a monthly basis. Ask one another: “How is the hope of heaven influencing the way we love one another, the way we raise our kids, the way we spend our money, and the way we focus our time?” REFLECTION How are you and your spouse daily living out your hope of heaven? If you were able to keep an eternal mindset, how would this affect your day-to-day life?
