MARCH FOR JESUS 29 AUGUST 2010 REPORTLast night, TEAM reached its goal and even more. About 300 Evangelical Christians, of all ages, walked from Balluta up to Ghar id-Dud. During the march the participants sang songs of praise addressing the Supremacy of Jesus in all that pertains to salvation. They distributed 1000 tracts and witnessed to many people. The white t-shirts with the TEAM logo in front and a paraphrased Acts 4:12 at the back where a display of force and unity. The initial reports we received showed the spirit of idolatry was shaken. Many of those who witnessed said people resisted the fact that Jesus is the only mediator. As usual, the argument was Mary, and the saints are also mediators. (If you have any reports, please send them to me to keep in file for historical reasons). Before the march, the participants spend time of prayer. The march ended by an address from the president of TEAM, Pastor Edwin Caruana, and the person responsible for evangelism and education, Pastor Joseph Agius. Pastor Patrick Stevenson closed the evening in prayer. You can watch some pictures here. This page will updated with more pictures after I have them.I want to give a special thank you to the March for Jesus committee which helped much to coordinate between the pastors and myself. THANK YOU!Please do not forget TEAM is organizing a three day event at Ghar id-dud from the first to the third of September. Some of events will consist of singing, testimonies, drama. Well known singers and musicians will be taking part. These events starts at 19:30.Friends, I was near the very end of the March and I was greatly encouraged. Almost everyone we asked if they wanted a tract either said no or already had one- a great testimony to those who were in front of us! Also I heard three different people saying, “Who were they?” And I heard- Kristjani, Evangelici, and Evangelisti. :-). My daughter Kathryn loved it as she also handed out Christian stickers to children she met. She asked if we could have another March for Jesus today and we talked about how really we “March for Jesus” all day wherever we are. So THANK YOU for all your hard work in organizing this and we look forward to seeing God work in Sliema this week! Blessings, Robin Pinkstonmadesigs
